The Natural History Museum

Ok now it’s a habit. We missed breakfast again. This time I did wake up in time but I just didn’t want to get out of bed into the cold. Oh well we will try again tomorrow.

Once we got out of bed and sorted we headed for the Natural History Museum. We thought we might be eaten by dinosaurs for something different.

It was easy to find from the station because we just followed the school group but luckily they detoured to the Science museum instead. Inside the museum we were confronted with a giant skeleton of a dinosaur. It was just huge and amazing, something just out of Jurassic park but without any skin lol. We first wanted to see the dinosaurs and be a big kid running round looking at all the fossils. We couldn’t run too much because again we were surrounded by children again. I swear somewhere the same as yesterday.

After the dinosaurs we decided to discover the human body. This was fun and interactive for all ages. It was like being at science works but just about the human body. It was really designed for big and little kids alike or anyone that likes to fiddle lol. We both had a lot of fun discovering things about the mind we didn’t know. It just proves you are never too old to play lol.

After much fun was had we had some lunch then headed for Soho to do a bit of light Christmas shopping. Kyle had one last Christmas gift to get but I was all done. I think Christmas madness had hit a little early this year. Everyone was wondering round like lost little lambs but then stopping right in the middle of everything. One poor person was backed into by a van and the ambos were called. The first one to arrive was an ambo on a bike. This makes complete sense in a city were roads get so clogged it’s hard to move. After a while it just got all too much for me and I had to get out.

People being stupid in crowded place just make me want to scream. So we headed to a pub for a drink. This time we got in before work finished for the day so managed to get a seat YAY. It was a nice little pub but boy did it get crowded very quickly. By 5.15 you could barely move to get a drink.

After our sit was decided to go and see a movie. Off to Piccadilly we went to see our movie. We saw 50/50. It was a really good movie. But the description made it out to be a comedy but it really was a drama comedy. Well worth a watch if you want something entertaining that will make you feel something. I don’t think it is coming out till March is Oz so you all will just have to wait.

Once the movie was over it was time for home to blog and things before bed.
